Simple House

I love this floor plan, from the Enclopedic, for a teacher's cottage. Only what was needed in 1930: bookcase, table, stove. No fridge, no tv area, no couch. We are slowly simplifying our farmhouse, trying to return it to more of its original state, because we are value peace and quiet over modern convenience. 

Here we removed a hanging cabinet that had been added over the island. So much better!
